Qigong or Chi Kung

The best thing I ever discovered: acupuncture, meditation, massage, hypnotism are all good, but chi kung is the best.

This is a very early form of Tai Chi and involves not moving at all! Or not moving very much. It is a superb relaxation/meditation and involves concentrating on the body/mind/breathing. It is a great wind-down after Tai chi or warm up for Tai Chi. You can do different movements or just stand like a statue. Standing still Chi Kung is best for meditation, I now prefer standing meditation to the sitting version. When you relax for Chi Kung start from the crown of you head and feel the tension relax. Then when there is no tension feel for any further down i.e. forehead. Then down until you find more tension. Do this all the way down your body to your feet. Feel all tension relax away. When you get good at this you will be able to do it in any situation and notice also when you have become tense or stressed. You may also be surprised to find that parts of your body are tense when you had not realized before. In my case my fore-head for years was tense, so much so that one eyebrow would always raise and I got a wrinkled fore-head, now I can feel when the tension comes and make it fade away.

The best book I ever got for Chi Kung:
