First... my five cars

1	1976 Vauxhall Chevette The old dear went very well for her age. Mechanically she was a low mileage shover but the body work let her down, in the rain a puddle formed in the foot well via my feet on the pedals	2	1989 to 1991
2	1985 Ford Fiesta XR2 My second offence at motoring and I thought I had bought the whole ladder. Who can look back at a car they have had for 8 years without missing it?	8	1991 to 1998
3	1985 Ford Fiesta 1.1L It was with fear I drove this thing in the wet, it just wanted to conk out all the time. The bonnet hinge went (this happened on the XR2 but I welded it) and I never got it done, so I also feared the hood flying through the window. Still for a 1.1 it was quick	1	2000 to 2001
4	1989 Ford Fiesta Popular 950 The gearbox was very worn on this old biddy and I used to think that the cogs would fly out of the engine bay through the dashboard. The last MOT I did produced so many holes I gave up on it. At least this one went o.k. in the wet	1	2001 to 2002
5	Peugeot 106 1.4 Diesel Mardi Gras I must say that the old Peugeot goes very well, it may not be a performer, but I don't drive fast now. The handling is very nice and the engine has bags of torque, I get about 65 mpg out of it (ok I'm sad now) Sold at auction for Ł390 (331.84 after commision!) Now I drive the Focus to work.		2004 to 20/3/08


Mum's old company car passed my test in it 1986 Ford Escort 1.6 Laser I used to love this car. I liked it so much that I got the XR2 which in my eyes was a scaled down version with all the same dash layout and controls. It was my 3rd attempt at my driving test, and it was this car that gave me the right confidence	Mum's new Ford KA2 This is quite a modifed KA with uprated suspension and low profile tyres, but when driving it there is conflict with the amount of grip and road holding vs. lack of power as the engine is standard See: Mums KA2


Lisa's old car Ford Escort XR3i (RS Turbo replica) Lisa likes to be chauffeured about so I had to drive this quite a lot, with my modified XR2 engine inside it started to be a fast motor See: Lisa's RS	Lisa's new car Ford Escort mk6 1.6 LXi 16valve When Lisa's XR3i went wrong we sold it off and got this bus, I drove it to work for 2 years when we lived in the city and had only 1 car


Dads old racing car as he crashed it Renault 5 TS My Dad used to do a bit of racing in the 70's and crashed the old thing twice. It was fun going to see all the different race tracks in the country in our Transit van with the racing car on the trailer

Like most school kids I used to like the Countach, but now I am more drawn to this Lambo, it is so cool at the beginning of the Italian Job. I have also sat in one of these
