Goa
Trance Vol.2 ~ Various Artists
Not as good as Goa Trance 3 but still great
A little more bland than the other two Goa Trance collections
but still very, very worth having!

Some of the best Goa Techno
I think this one is better than Goa Trance 1 and 2, a real flavour
of Goa Techno back in the day!

History of Goa Trance
The best Goa Techno album you can buy!
This really is a corker! Get this one and forget the others! The best! CD2 you will play forever.
Gives a comprehensive overview of Goa Trance. I have loads of Goa Trance compliations, but this is by far the best.
This is how they made it back in '95 in Goa and is just like the old trance parties I remember from back then.
Great value with 2 CD's and not a dud track. If you want a diffinitive goa compilation then this is it!

Kimono
My House ~ Sparks
Don't be fooled by the first track,
which I still think is the best thing they ever did.
This album is really bad. Track 1 is great, track 2 is an
almost terrible song almost but not at all like the first track,
from then on it is downhill and by the end of the CD you want
to die. They are bland and horrid things and this is a bland and
horrid album not worth having just for "This Town Ain't Be
Enough For Both Of Us". You have been warned!

Music
3000
Not very good and limited
A long time ago I had a lot of fun with Music and Music 2000 for
the PS1. However since then I have had cubase and others on the
PC. Coming back to the PS2 with music 3000 has left me feeling
frustrated that they should charge money for this. Too few samples,
which are not very good anyway, stupid styles: metal, indie, pop
(duh?). Poor layout and control, and naff extras tacked on like
the music mixer and videos just to try and draw some more life
out of a warmed over product. Save you money and buy a £30
keyboard.

Lonely
Planet India (Travel Guide) by Hugh Finlay, Sarina Singh (Editor)
Best taken along
You can navigate your way around India with it, I have done, but
be aware that you could well just be following a very worn furrow.
You will find yourself visiting places, eating in places and trying
the 'special curd' that many other travellers have done before
you. But it is still so handy to help you find bus and train offices,
food and
places to stay, I would have been lost without it and its maps.
You will need this book, don't even think of going without it!

Lonely
Planet Goa by Bryn Thomas, et al
Good but may put you off going
Much of the infomation is recycled from the mother book Lonely
Planet India. Some facts are infact wrong, one such example is
the location of Anjuna motorbike repairs. It is strange in its
omisions such as the Orange Boom Cafe in Anjuna has been there
for many years but is still missed out of the book. The health
section will scare you to death, and it is best to remind yourself
that you will have little chance of
catching most things. The stories of police raids, rapes and other
horrors are best glossed over if you want to stay sane. The book
is very good for two week holidays for whistle-stop-tours but
a little less usefull for long to very long term stays. In the
case of the latter more information would be required, such as
the Lonely Planet
Asia & India Health book. However it is a book well worth
taking along and gives a good overview of what to expect, what
to go and see, and where to stay and eat.

Lonely
Planet England by Ryan Ver Berkmoes, David Else (Editor)
Too big a coutry, too small a book
While England is quite small there is an awfull lot packed into
it. The same cannot be said of this book. Many areas of the country
are very short on detail. I think that a visitor may find it useful
as long as they realise that they will also be missing a lot if
they only use this book. There seems to be a lot of detail on
just London while counties such as Norfolk have very little information.
As with most Lonely Planet books it is good to have but it would
be better to seek more information on the spot.
